COOKIN’ HAIKU

Taman kad sam pomislila da sam iscrpela sve “food wise” što mi je bilo interesantno, na Flickru isplivava BANANA GRANOLA. Hrana, aranžmani i recepti – out of this world. As far as I’m concerned, ovo bi komotno mogao da bude autentičan meni onog restorančića na kraju univerzuma, iz Autostoperskog Vodiča kroz galaksiju. :-)
Ne uspevam da iščačkam ko je Banana Granola i čime se bavi. Sve što saznajem o njoj, nalazi se upravo na njenom Flickr profilu. Dolazi iz Osake i sprema, fotka i jede opasnu klopu. A zapravo, najinteresantnija stvar u čitavoj ovoj priči je to što ispod svake fotorgafije možete da pročitate naziv jela i upoznate se s njegovim sastojcima. Tako se listanje njenih fotki pretvara u divan, mali čas japanske gastronomije.
Simply Steamed:
Vegetables: lotus root, annou sweet potato, carrot, pumpkin, red onion, zucchini, midi tomato, shimeji mushrooms, myoga, manganji sweet pepper. Miso and sesame sauce: miso, sesame seed paste, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sake, kinome. Simple but steamed vegetables are yummy.
Shiratama dessert:
Kind of a rice cake. Shiratama dango, kanten jelly, azuki bean jam, sweet mung beans, black syrup.

Prethodna fotografija dovodi nas do dezerata. A dezerti - neprepričljivo tanani i delikatni. Tradicionalni Wagashi sa kestenom i beautyberry-em, jagodičasti rice cake zavijen u “kimono” od trešnjihih listića, ružica sa Walkerovih i Thierstein editorijala, i na kraju – hortenzija.
October Wagashi:
Traditional Japanese cakes (wagashi) in the shape of chestnuts and beautyberry. Many products of wagashi shops are changed 1-2 times every month or every season.
Strawberries wearing kimono:
Sweet rice cake dessert. Strawberries, azuki bean jam, domyoji flour, cherry leaves, sugar, salt, natural food coloring agent.
Apple Jam Jelly:
Homemade apple jam (apples, sugar, lemon juice, peel of apples for pink color), kanten powder, sugar, pistachio nuts.
!!! Sweet hydrangeas: !!!
White bean paste, agar-agar, sugar, starch syrup, food coloring, edible egoma leaves (not hydrangea leaves).

Zanemariću sada ove silne vratolomije sa dezertima i čitav okean egzotičnih namirnica. Obratite pažnju na aranžman njen bento obročić, ili na Zoni supicu, pa na “flower” sushi sa hrizanteminim laticama.
Sakura Bento:
*Sakura rice ball: rice, glutinous rice, pickled cherry blossoms, salt, *Braised hijiki seaweed and daizu beans, *Simmered pumpkin, *Simmered ganmodoki
*Japanese omelet with shungiku leaves, *Boiled broad beans
My Zoni Soup:
Boiled maru-mochi (rice cake), clear soup (dashi, light-colored soy sauce, salt), kintoki carrot, yurine (lily bulb), spinach, chicken, kamaboko (fish cake).
Flower Sushi:
rice, sushi vinegar, pickled chrysanthemum petals, scallop sashimi, cucumber, sesame seeds, kinome leaves

Matsuri-zushi (decorated sushi roll) is a traditional sushi roll of Chiba region in Japan. It is made mainly for festivals.
Sakura Mochi:
domyoji flour, sweet bean jam (tsubuan), sugar, salt, natural food dye, salt pickled cherry leaves, salt pickled cherry blossoms.
December wagashi:
