Često pogledom ispitujem nebo, pogotovo kada je oblačno i kada su oblaci nisko. Tad zagnjurim u oblačni šlag i raščlanjujem deo po deo, razdvajam oblike, pratim kako se menjaju s vetrom i sve tako… Pre par nedelja otkrila sam sjajnu seriju fotografija “The Kingdom” by Seb Janiak. Ne bih je se ni setila, da jutros nije bilo oblačno.
The French artist created a technique in which several images are layered together to produce one hyper-realistic photograph. In each of these compositions, he draws on that technique to create a fantasy world displayed in the turbulent skies. The transforming clouds reveal the changing light throughout a full day, moving from bright daylight to the shadows of moonlight that reveal twinkling clusters of stars. The Kingdom takes its inspiration from the Tibetan Book of the Dead, the Bardo Thodol. Its main theme is the duality faced by man since his creation, expressed in terms of a struggle between light and nothingness.
