Life Magazine je povodom pedesetogodišnjice čuvene rođendanske proslave JFK-a (19. maj 1962), u kojoj je Marylin bila zvezda večeri, objavio seriju retko viđenih fotografija Bill Ray-a. Btw, sad sam prvi put videla spisak učesnika i izvođača… that was some party.
The Elrod House is famed for hosting the fight scene in the James Bond film, ‘Diamonds Are Forever’. Over the years, it’s also hosted some Playboy shoots too. The 9000 square foot home designed by John Lautner for interior designer, Arthur Elrod back in 1968, has become quite a pop culture fixture. (via high snobiety)
Mini omaž obožavanom Gio Ponti-u, ”poet, painter, architect, industrial designer and founding editor of Domus magazine”. Fotografije su via Amsterdam Modern blog & Domus magazin (članak iz 1961 o breathtaking vili “Planchart” koju je projektovao sam Ponti).
Obožavam ova dva seta tanjira koje je dizajnirala Sydney Albertini.
U skoro 95% opština u Japanu šahtovi su oslikani i dizajnirani tako da simbolizuju tu lokaciju, njenu floru i faunu, tradiciju ili kulturni identitet. “Manhole covers” je izuzetan set na Flickr-u sa preko 350 fotografija ovih gradskih bedževa iz Japana.
